We announce the program of study for the academic year 2021-2022.
The program is similar to that of 2020-2021.
The major difference being that the course HCI209 Introduction to Human-Robot Interaction will be taught for the first time (instructors Profs Xenos, Dermatas, Komninos).
In terms of modality of teaching for the forthcoming academic year, given the positive experience of last year’s online teaching and the reaction of the students, we plan to continue with this modality, if the University of Patras authorities allow to proceed with this modality.
We should mention that the Special Board managing the
program has decided to forwarded the request to the Graduate Program Authorities to extend the amount of teaching in courses that will be offered online from 35% that is currently by law, to 70%.
This decision was the result of evaluation of the experience of teaching online during the last academic year (due to the Corona virus healeth crisis). We discovered that the experience was very positive and many applicants have requested extending online teaching in the next academic year.
This however is not a final decision yet, as it is subject to approval by
the supervising and legislating bodies of graduate studies of the
University of Patras.
